Our Ministry Photos

CCH has many ministries that can be poured into. Here are some of the ministries we've participated in over the past 13 years.

Medical Brigade: Children and families within the villages of Honduras are in need of medical attention that they have limited access to. Churches/Organizations with access to medications and healthcare providers are able to participate in this ministry by bringing a medical clinic to the village.

Provision Bags: Individuals in the villages many times are limited on how many meals a day they get. Sometimes a tortilla is a meal. CCH has started giving out provision bags of food which may last a family for a week. The bags come with rice, beans, pasta, oil, sugar, etc. Families are called upon to receive the bags and find their hope in the Lord who has provided for their needs through this ministry.

Construction Projects: There are options in our community for the construction teams to participate in ministering. Some villages are without a church plant, many families are without homes or even concrete flooring. Church temples could use a front porch, and bathrooms are also a necessity within the villages to help avoid the spread of bacteria.

Pastoral Training: Once or twice a year CCH will invite approximately 40 pastors and their wives to a 2 day conference. They are given books/Bibles and necessary materials to learn about the Word. Pouring into the pastors of the community is a necessary tool make sure that they in return can appropriately guide their sheep and allow them to mature in the Word as well.

Eco-Friendly Stoves: In 2006, Pastor Israel noticed that the majority of patients visiting our medical clinic were suffering from respiratory infections that came from inhaling the smoke of the wood-fired stoves that are used. He then invented an energy efficient stove which reduced the amount of wood used and utilizes a chimney reducing smoke inhalation. These homes are installed in homes of the families within the villages and participants help fund this as well as install them. This IG Stove ministry helps families financially (buying or collecting 70% less wood), helps people physically (huge decrease in respiratory infections), benefits the environment (saving 100,000’s of trees in the Honduran rainforest), and opens the door to a home in need of the gospel.

VBS- Vacation Bible School!: CCH is known for bringing the fun along with the gospel to the children of Honduras. Upon arrival in the village, we play games, give a Bible story, love on the Lord’s children and provide them with lunch. We give each individual hotdogs, chips, candy, juice, and ice cream. Children in the villages look forward to this experience all year and the love of the Lord is passed on and followed up with by the local church plant.
